This is a city builder with a high reliance on resource management and an edgy and cartoonish visual style. I've wanted to reflect its bold style in sound as well. So there are a lot of vinyl scratches, hip-hop beats, heavy guitars, and other such stuff in the UI sound effects. I had to bring sonic dimension to a whole bunch of things, from vehicles that are roaming on the city streets, to the PvP mechanics that include a number of elements and steps. Have to say, it is quite a fun project to work on.

This game is set in a fantasy world full of magic, monsters, and fairy-like creatures. I've created sounds for spells, buffs, debuffs, attacks of monsters and characters. The visual of the game is a little bit eerie, and I wanted to reflect it in sound effects as well, distorting and shifting the sonic image in different ways.

An unusual setting that is basically a cartoonish sewer and gameplay that is happening underwater gave me a fun opportunity to use sounds like bubbles, plunger, focets, and distort sounds as if they were affected by this kind of environment. On top of that, a number of additional mechanics like PvP leaderboards, championships, and so on, really let me experiment and create sounds that are different from those that are usually associated with UI.

DOOKEY DASH

It is a first-person shooter game. The story is full of tension, drama, and action. These cut-scenes are made in a comic style and show what is going on with the characters and the world in the game between matches. The soundtrack had to have a suited sound. I used a lot of arpeggiated and pad synths, heavy guitars, intense beats, and battle drums. In addition, I've added some sound effects to the animations to bring more dynamism to the video.

This game has a tech-like visual style along with fantastic entities and supernatural abilities. I've created relaxed background and unintrusive music for menus with lo-fi techniques so nothing would distract players from planning and preparing for a battle, and an intense yet mindful music theme, using guitars and feedback effects, for battle to emphasise the gameplay.

Unreleased Project

I've created sound and music for a number of Faraway's RIFT AI videos. Basically, all of the videos are about Rift AI's mascot - robot J3FF in different situations that reflect culturally significant media, holidays, and so on. Since each video is different, the sound is different too and should get along with a theme. So it is an interesting challenge to come up with an appropriate arrangement and production, which I appreciate a lot.

RIFT AI

This is tower defence in a Viking style with magic and mystical creatures. The gameplay cycle is classic tower defence, so the pace and difficulty increase gradually with each wave of enemies that are trying to reach a village that you must protect. I've created a number of music loops that one after another create a gradual dynamic that becomes more intense. It starts fairly minimalistic and ends with choirs, battle chants, throat singing, war drums, and so on.

This is a game about the adventures of a group of friends in a cursed city. It's a cartoonish horror with a lot of references to pop culture. Sound design was made with those requirements in mind. Background music was made in a way that it could be completed with both major and minor keys of in-game music loops. For each scene and character, unique voices and sounds were made.
